Solar Installation Professional
Website Short Description
Our Solar Installation Professional program covers training in Photovoltaic (PV) Systems. In this program, we will cover the principles of PV electricity and how to effectively incorporate it into stand-alone or utility-connected electrical systems. This program provides detailed illustrations that clarify the concepts behind PV system operations. This program is a guide to this clean and cost-effective technology. Beginning with a review of the history of solar water and space heating systems from prehistory to the present, this program presents an introduction to modern solar energy systems, energy conservation, and energy economics. We will discuss multiple types of solar collectors, solar water, and space heating systems including solar pool heating systems, their advantages and disadvantages. This program will also cover system components, their installation, operation, and maintenance as well as how to choose the appropriate system and system size. In this program, we will explore the financial aspects of solar and clearly show that such implementation generates significant savings over time. Our LEED Green Associate preparation module provides the foundation concepts and standards for the residential, commercial and institutional green building industry. This module covers green building core concepts and strategies, along with sustainable thinking and implementation!
Though this program is a self-paced program it is supported by an educational mentor. Educational mentors are subject matter experts who have years of experience in their field as well as the necessary educational training and credentials to work as an expert. The mentor is available to answer any questions a learner may have including questions on course content, course material, certifications, and even industry questions. Mentors also monitor the progress of learners to ensure training retention and program advancement. In eLearning, motivation is a key tool to success. Because of this, mentors provide encouraging comments, feedback, and coaching to motivate learners throughout the duration of the program to support completion and success!
